This space wasn’t created for performance. It was created for peace.
I’ve lived through enough change — some chosen, some not — to realize that reflection is its own kind of freedom. I started this blog as a way to process the things that shaped me: heartbreaks, reinventions, healing, travel, growth, and the quiet lessons that never quite leave you.
I was raised away from my siblings, in a home that often felt unpredictable and overly controlled. That kind of environment leaves marks — subtle ones that show up in how you think, how you trust, how you carry yourself. It’s taken years to sort through what was mine and what I learned just to survive. I moved away at 18 and never looked back, but the impact stayed with me. Writing about it now is part of how I let it go.
Now, at 40, I think differently. I feel more rooted. There’s no need to perform or explain — just to share what’s real, and maybe find a little light in the process.
You’ll find all kinds of stories here: travel, recovery, relationships, the realities of starting over, and the kind of reflections I wish I could’ve handed to my younger self. This isn’t a place for perfect answers or curated inspiration. Just truth — from someone still unfolding.
If you’ve ever felt like your story wasn’t finished yet… you’re in good company.
